Our Therapists

  • Born and raised in Spain for the first 20 years of my life, I was exposed to many different cultures, languages and wellness therapies by my mother who has been in the healing and bodywork world for over 25 years.

My initial degree is in International Hospitality Management which provided an incredible foundation to my career path. After many years in the hospitality industry, I decided to go back to school to get my Massage Therapy license. I have been in practice since 2013 and have worked in a variety of different settings including physical therapy, home health, hospitals and end of life support.

After a health scare and cancer mis-diagnosis I dove deep into my own health and with the help of some amazing healthcare practitioners I was able to get to the root of what was happening in my body and educate myself on how I could best support my health moving forward. During this time I found the power of supporting and clearing my detox pathways through the lymphatic system as the foundational piece for my healing.

I am grateful to be here now in this capacity to help others in their healthcare journey.

Christie offers Lymphatic Therapy, CranioSacral Therapy, Therapeutic Massage, and Reiki. Prior to our appointment we can discuss what treatments you would like to incorporate to best support where you are at.

*Only therapist to offer Lymphatic Therapy at the moment.

  • Phoenix graduated from East West College of Healing Arts in 2012 and has served as a massage therapist since that time. During her career she has continued to learn and deepen her studies.

She has experience in multiple techniques such as Myofascial Release, Thai, Tui Na, deep tissue and Structural Integration. Her training allows her to pull from different techniques to make impactful change, based on the individual needs of each client.

Her approach to bodywork is slow, intentional and therapeutic. She utilizes deliberate touch as means to invite tissues to soften, allowing her to access targeted layers without having to force her way through aggressive pressure. She focuses on soft tissue manipulation through grip via skin-to-skin contact or through linen, allowing her to treat with little-to-no use of oils.

During your session you can expect dialogue about your musculoskeletal symptoms, your lifestyle, how you use your body, and your priorities for your care. She will perform a postural assessment to observe how your body rests and how it moves in space. This process allows her to formulate a plan for your session with the goal of alleviating discomfort and helping to determine the root cause for your symptoms. Her approach results in bodywork that is effective and specific to your unique needs to increase range/ease of movement, increase flow/circulation, and allow lasting relief by creating sustainable structural changes.

Phoenix grew up in Oregon and moved to Bend in 2023. Outside the office, she can be found on the river combining her love of bodywork and the outdoors as she provides treatment under the open sky to clients of local fishing outfits. In her spare time she enjoys cooking, camping, fishing, studying foreign language and traveling.
